Police are investigating the fatal wounding of a man in Surfers Paradise overnight.
At 7.15 pm, police were called to an address on Hanlan Street and found a man with a wound to the torso.
The 35-year-old Surfers Paradise man was conveyed to Gold Coast University hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
A crime scene was declared.
Investigators are appealing for anyone who was in the vicinity of Hanlan Street around 7 pm and may have witnessed any activity to contact police.
The investigation is ongoing.
Update: Police are seeking public assistance to locate a 20-year-old woman who may be able to assist with their investigation into the death of a 35-year-old man in Surfers Paradise last night.
Gold Coast and State Homicide Investigation Group detectives are seeking assistance concerning the location and movements of the woman.
The woman is known to frequent, reside, and associate with individuals in the Surfers Paradise, Southport and Labrador areas.
Members of the public are advised not to approach the individual and are urged to contact the police.
Update: Police have charged a woman with murder after a man was allegedly stabbed last night in Surfers Paradise.
It will be alleged an altercation occurred on Hanlan Street around 7.10 pm in which a man received a single stab wound to the torso.
The 35-year-old Surfers Paradise man was conveyed to Gold Coast University Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
A woman was located by police late this afternoon at a residential address in Surfers Paradise.
The man and woman are known to each other.
A 20-year-old Labrador woman has been charged with one count of murder and will appear in the Southport Magistrates Court tomorrow, April 23.
